B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, University of Missouri at Columbia, 1982.

 

Registered Professional Engineer, State of Missouri, Certification No. EN 025040

 

Accredited by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and has met the academic and practical requirements set forth by the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities as a Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI), certification no. 647.

 

Accredited by the State of Missouri, Department of Public Safety, Division of Fire Safety, as a Licensed Elevator Inspector, License No. 9.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

 

1990 – Present   Kenneth H. Lemp elevator Consultant, Inc.

Elevator Consultant   Fenton, Missouri

Responsibilities include elevator analysis and design of elevator systems for new buildings, elevator renovations of elevators in existing buildings, code compliance evaluations (including ADA), preparation of specifications for new installations and existing renovations, final acceptance inspections of elevator work upon completion of the job, elevator inspections for maintenance contract conformance, and the preparation of elevator maintenance contracts.

 

Seven (7) years of prior engineering experience in field, design and marketing:

 

1987 – 1990 Magnetek Century Electric

Market Specialist –          St. Louis, Missouri

Responsibilities included investigating marketing parameters, evaluating competition, setting price levels, consorting between customers, sales, engineering, and production through presentations and product demonstrations for electric motors.

 

1984 – 1987 Unidynamics Elevator Systems

Project Design Engineer –          St. Louis, Missouri

Responsibilities included engineering design of shipboard and specialty elevators for government projects, coordination of contracts, marketing, and client consultations.

 

1983 – 1984       Inland Steel

Mechanical Maintenance Foreman –       East Chicago, Indiana

Responsibilities included managing steel production maintenance crew, repairs of machinery, updating antiquated equipment, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems.
